Well i would suggest u to go to mapquest.com write in the address where u live right now and write down the address where your going.Or else u can buy map books u know those that they sell. Hope i helped!
2 :
Fly to Ft Lauderdale and then take the Train.
3 :
I would definitely fly there....like you noticed, there are no direct flights. You'll have to connect through somewhere like Chicago. Just make sure you have enough time between flights to allow for delays.
4 :
Continental has flights that go through Houston, then on to Memphis. See webpage below for a sample flight. I have found with Continental, you get your best price by using their own website, not Expedia or Travelocity or any of the other ticket services. Good Luck.
5 :
North North West.

Check any travel agencie call airlines
2 :
Yes you can, just go to www.kayak.com and search LHR (London) or any other airport code that you want to look up to MEM (Memphis) and there are plenty of flights to choose from.
3 :
Well, apparently there is not enough traffic between London and Memphis to justify any direct flights - at least not that I could find on the major carriers. You will have to choose an intermediate stop in places like Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Detroit. A travel agent should be able to find something that works for you.
4 :
No, I do not think there are any direct flights from any UK airport to Memphis. I have looked into this myself, and most routes will involve at least one change of aircraft, the quickest route likely to by LON - JFK - MEM.
5 :
I'm afraid you can't. However, there are many ways of getting there with various airlines including Continental, Northwest airlines, KLM, Delta, United & BA. The routes available include, among others, one stop at Atlanta, Minneapolis, JFK - New York, Detroit, Houston. http://www.skyscanner.net/
6 :
Nope. The only European destination from Memphis is Amsterdam on Northwest. You will have to connect.
7 :
there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

why would travelocity.com sell an airfare if the seat chart indicates that there are no available seats left

why would travelocity.com sell an airfare if the seat chart indicates that there are no available seats left?
I'm looking for a flight from Memphis,tn to Jakarta, Indonesia in the middle of May. and I found a really cheap flight. but when I clicked on the seat chart, it showed that there were no available seats to be assigned. but I also notice this on the seat chart..."Not all flights have Seat Map technology." could this mean that there are available seats but they're just not showing it for this particular flight?

Airlines overbook flights.
2 :
Travelocity buys flights and hotel rooms from companies in bulk for cheaper rates. That is how they are able to give them to you for a discount. If travelocity isn't able to sell the flights and hotel rooms that they have bought then they just eat it and make no money on it.
3 :
travelocity is just in it for the money. i hate that stupid gnome. They are so cheap they wont even pay a celebrity to go their commercials... just a stupid gnome.
4 :
the may be over-selling the flight...that is the most likeley cause. so this is my advice; if you really want to be on that plane, go to a travle agent or buy it from the airlines website.n They will be more expensive but if you show up att he airport, they want to 'bump' people and you show your ticket at check in with travelocity on it....they will try to bump you as you took the cheaper way out.
5 :
Standard airline policy. Overbooking. That will cover them for cancellations and other consequences. Unless you MUST have that particular flight date, I wouldn't worry. Be flexible if you can. If NOT then find another airline that is not so cheap but will guarantee a seat.
6 :
A common reason for this is the fact that airlines hold back blocks of seats for assignment at check-in. This would mean that, despite the conspiracy theories posted above, Travelocity would be able to book a confirmed ticket for you, but would not be able to allocate a seat. That latter would be done at the airport when you check-in. The reason the airlines hold back seats is so they can group families together who hadn't previously reserved specific seats, plus emergency exit rows are usually blocked off until they can see the person requesting the seat (can they open the door in an emergency?), and also any "better" seats they can reserve for their frequent flyers who weren't able to get an upgrade. Look at the seating chart and see if there appear to be several rows missing in the number sequence. That is often a way that airlines use to block off seats.
7 :
I often cannot pick seats until closer to the flight, even with booking directly on an airline's website. So I expect it is just that Travelocity cannot let you pick your seat right now, not that they have oversold.

Is the Memphis airport hard to figure out

Is the Memphis airport hard to figure out?
I'm flying from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jacksonville, Florida and I'm switching airports in Memphis, Tennessee. I'm scared of getting lost and not finding my flight in time. Is the Memphis, Tennessee airport hard to figure out and to find my way around?

No, not at all. Memphis is tiny. (The passenger terminal, anyway.)
