How come Chicago didn't get a hint when they checked the luggage of the two that were arrested in Amsterdam

How come Chicago didn't get a hint when they checked the luggage of the two that were arrested in Amsterdam?
Those items were an empty shampoo bottle with watches attached to it and an empty bottle of a stomach medicine with mobile phones attached, according to the U.S. law enforcement source, who has been briefed on the investigation. That has raised concern that the men may have been testing a future terrorist plot, the source said. Attempts to sneak liquid explosives aboard jetliners were at the heart of a 2006 plot broken up by British authorities. That case led U.S. authorities to ban all but small quantities of liquids from aircraft cabins. U.S. law enforcement officials told CNN that the checked bags contained knives and box cutters as well. Passengers have been banned from carrying those items on aircraft since the September 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington. The source identified the men aboard United Airlines Flight 908, from Chicago, Illinois, to Amsterdam, as Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al-Soofi and Hezem al-Murisi. Al-Soofi began his trip by boarding a flight in Birmingham, Alabama, and al-Murisi originally flew from Memphis, Tennessee, the law enforcement source said. http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/europe/08/30/netherlands.airport.arrests/?hpt=T1#fbid=7MGqzrlTZTN&wom=false Nahhhh we can't profile those who carry that kind of stuff after all we have to be political correct and not profile any with a Muslim name right??

I don't know, but what the hell, let's blame Obama.

The problem is, first you have a Government like ours that's afraid of its own shadow, everything must be done in a way that is nice. Second, you have our law enforcement that's supposed to do its job while their hands are tied. It is much better according to politicians to be PC than it is to do things right and keep people safe. Remember, just like in Afghanistan, we don't want to offend people that want to kill us. But isn't it interesting that most of the airport security force in Chicago is Muslim. They let anyone through.

I live in Jonesboro and just flew in two weeks ago from Detroit. There is nothing closer, but it only took about 75 minutes to get to Jonesboro.

I don't think so-not with cheap rates- your best bet is to go from a bigger airport for the best rates-I'd stick with Memphis. Let me know when you need tickets-I know of a Travelocity partner site with great rates...

Nichole, Jonesboro has an airport, but it does not have any commercial service, so you need to fly into Memphis. Sorry. Regards, Dan

What do you guys think of this movie

What do you guys think of this movie?
I am independent filmmaker. I am making a movie called "This Ain't No Game". It is a movie about two ruthless gangsters/dope dealers who go on a killing spree against their enemies from rival gangs in Memphis. When they get done with their murders, they flee the state and move to New York. In New York they meet a drug dealer and "street boss" who wants to work with them in hopes of "getting paid". They agree to form an alliance with him and become partners. They the man they become partners with sets up a major drug deal that he says will get them paid quick. The three men hit the spot where the deal is suppose to go down. The two guys from Memphis ask their new partner where the other dealers and says they are coming. When the dealers come their new partner laughs, pulls out his gun and says that he and the other dealers just caught them. He tells the the two Memphis gangsters that they are not drug dealers they ARE COPS from Memphis looking to bust them. He says that they secretly followed them on their flight to New York knowing what they did back in Memphis. The two gangsters get baffled by this and then pull out their guns. The cops then kill the two men in a shootout. The cops stand over their dead bodies and say "You two boys should have learned that life ain't a game. When you lose it, you don't get it back." What do you guys think?

The cops wouldn't follow them to New York, they would arrest them on the spot! Why would the "street boss" set up a major deal with a couple of strangers from Memphis if he's a cop? He would arrest them on the spot! This makes no sense.

How long do you want it to be? Because I don't think you could get a decent length film out of that premise. I also think you need some kind of twist, because the plot is just something that happens all the time-undercover cops bust drug dealers. Ok, there may not be killing sprees all the time, but you still need something to make your film 'stand out'. As a basic first draft of a plot, it sounds good though. Good luck on your film, I'll look out for you at Sundance!
