Witty Airplane quotes

Witty Airplane quotes!?
Occasionally, airline attendants make an effort to make the "in-flight safety lecture" and their other announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported: "There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane..." Pilot - "Folks, we have reached our cruising altitude now, so I am going to switch the seat belt sign off. Feel free to move about as you wish, but please stay inside the plane till we land ... it's a bit cold outside, and if you walk on the wings it affects the flight pattern." And, after landing: "Thank you for flying Delta Business Express. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride." As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Washington National, a lone voice comes over the loudspeaker: "Whoa, big fella. WHOA!" After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in Memphis, a flight attendant on a Northwest flight announced: "Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as Hell everything has shifted." From a Southwest Airlines employee.... "Welcome aboard Southwest Flight XXX to YYY. To operate your seatbelt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seatbelt, and if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised. In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, oxygen masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child traveling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are traveling with two small children, decide now which one you love more. Weather at our destination is 50 degrees with some broken clouds, but they'll try to have them fixed before we arrive. Thank you, and remember, nobody loves you, or your money, more than Southwest Airlines." "As you exit the plane, please make sure to gather all of your belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses." "Last one off the plane must clean it." And from the pilot during his welcome message: "We are pleased to have some of the best flight attendants in the industry ...Unfortunately none of them are on this flight...! Heard on Southwest Airlines just after a very hard landing in Salt Lake City: The flight attendant came on the intercom and said, "That was quite a bump and I know what ya'll are thinking. I'm here to tell you it wasn't the airline's fault, it wasn't the pilot's fault, it wasn't the flight attendants' fault.....it was the asphalt!" Another flight Attendant's comment on a less than perfect landing: "We ask you to please remain seated as Captain Kangaroo bounces us to the terminal." After a real crusher of a landing in Phoenix, the Flight Attendant came on with, "Ladies and Gentlemen, please remain in your seats until Captain Crash and the Crew have brought the aircraft to a screeching halt up against the gate. And, once the tire smoke has cleared and the warning bells are silenced, we'll open the door and you can pick your way through the wreckage to the terminal. Part of a Flight Attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of us here at US Airways."

Go ahead. Being drowsy would be much better than being in pain.
2 :
Careful! All drugs are stronger taken during a flight. The same dosage on the ground is much more potent in the air. I'm a former Flight Attendant and I had quite a few passed out passengers on my flights, all of which were somehow drug related, and not illegal either! They drank a little wine with dinner and didn't know that it would mix badly with their blood pressure medications, etc. I've had trouble waking some (but they were okay). I'm not even sure that Valium is a good choice for flying. You may do better with something specifically for anxiety. Knocking yourself out may not be the best idea. You may want to see a psychiatrist to get more insight and perhaps a more precise medication. Flying is very safe and most fears are control-based, not because you actually feel danger. Just talking about it might help. Good luck and hope the flight goes smoothly.
3 :
The above answer is very good except for the fact that valium is an anti-anxiety drug with the side effect of drowsiness for most people who don't use the drug on a regular basis. The effectiveness of the drug also depends on whether you take the drug on a full or empty stomach and how often you use the drug. To get the benefits you're looking for, you should take the drug at least two hours after your last meal. 10 mg is a common dosage, but how it affects a person will vary depending on the person. On a four hour flight, you may have a difficult time waking up at your destination if you take 10 mg, but that may be also be true for 5 mg for some people. I'm not a doctor or pharmacist so I don't think I'm the one to tell you how much to take, but I do know from experience that those type of drugs work much better on an empty stomach. Good luck.

Airline Cabin Announcements

Airline Cabin Announcements?
All too rarely, airline attendants make an effort to make the in flight "safety lecture" and announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported: 1. On a Southwest flight 245 (SW has no assigned seating, you just sit where you want) passengers were apparently having a hard time choosing, when a flight attendant announced, "People, people we're not picking out furniture here, find a seat and get in it!" 2. On a Continental Flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude and will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants." 3. On landing, the stewardess said, "Please be sure to take all of your belongings. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's something we'd like to have. 4. "There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane" 5. "Thank you for flying Delta Business Express. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride." 6. As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Ronald Reagan, a lone voice came over the loudspeaker: "Whoa, big fella. WHOA!" 7. After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in Memphis, a flight attendant on a Northwest flight a announced, "Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted." 8. From a Southwest Airlines employee: "Welcome aboard Southwest Flight 245 to Tampa . To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seat belt; and, if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised." 9. "In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child traveling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are traveling with more than one small child, pick your favorite." 10. "As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses." 12. And from the pilot during his welcome message: "Delta Airlines is pleased to have some of the best flight attendants in the industry. Unfortunately, none of them are on this flight!"

Can you take a DOG as a carry on, on a UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT

Can you take a DOG as a carry on, on a UNITED AIRLINES FLIGHT?
I am flying from Memphis Tn to Casper Wy and am wanting to take my Toy Poodle as a carry on. Iv heard as long as it was in a carrier and it would fit under the seat, that you can do this. Does anyone know if you can do this on ANY UNTIED AIRLINES FLIGHT? Also aprox. how much does this cost? and do they charge you twice if you are scheduled to switch planes? My flight is already booked through United. Memphis TN -Layover in Denver CO- Casper WY THANKS!!! Thanks for all your responses. I actually just called the airline :). They said i could take the dog. Its 85$. They did say if they found out the dog had been giving any sedatives, they would NOT let the dog on. They said sedatives can be very dangerous for dogs on planes. THANKS AGAIN!

i don't think so, but check with the flight agents
2 :
Your best bet is to call the airport. I know they used to, but I think in recent years they stopped allowing it due to the air filtration system and pet allergies.
3 :
Call United and ask them, or go to their website and read up on their info listed there.
4 :
You must let the airline know that you're taking your dog and they will tell you the rest. You'll need papers from you vet that you get at least 10 day before your flight and an airline approved carrier. I have flown a lot with Untied with my dog, they are one of the best. Have a great trip;~)
5 :
Yes I think you can. Check out this website for more info/restrictions: http://www.united.com/page/middlepage/0,1454,1047,00.html
6 :
Call the airlines. they all have different rules and I think they change them daily.
7 :
Yes, you can take your dog, but it has to fit in an "airline approved" carrier --you can find those at your local pet store. They will be marked as ariline approved. You should also carry your dog's vaccine/license information to show your dog has been vaccinated against rabies and other typical dog diseases. You may be asked for it when you get to your destination even if the airlines don't ask on boarding. You should also medicate your dog with sedatives. The trip is difficult for a pet without being let out of their cramped quarters, and is stressful. Their ears may hurt from the pressure, and they may bark as a result unless medicated. Medication for them is for the benefit of both the passengers and the dog. There is no fee if they fit in the carrier that fits under the seat. If they are too large to fit in the carrier, you will have to put them in cargo - and I STRONGLY urge you NOT to do that. The cargo hold has extreme temperatures and varying oxygen levels. This method is the last resort. This area does have additional fees, and they do not guarantee your dog will survive. Your dog is better off in boarding than the cargo hold.
8 :
My daughter flew from Michigan to Florida with her dog on board. The animal has to fit in a carrier approved by the airline(the airline gave my daughter one). The dog cage was so small , the dog couldn't move. Thank goodness it was a short flight. The animal would be classified as a carry-on, but there is a small fee.(a one-time fee) Check with the airline for any other questions you have.

Why are flights to and from Little Rock, AR so pricey? Are there other airports in the area I should check

Why are flights to and from Little Rock, AR so pricey? Are there other airports in the area I should check?
While researching possible relocation I noticed that flights to Phoenix, Detroit, Nashville, Memphis, Vegas are extremely high. Almost none of these flights offer non-stop service which I don't understand. Being from Detroit a flight from here to Chicago is about $70 yet a flight from Little Rock to Memphis (about the same distance) is almost $300.

Did you try cheaptickets.com? I know that if you book early you can get some really good prices
2 :
smaller town=lesser competition. Did you try Southwest?
3 :
Many more travelers and demand to Detroit and Chicago especially with business travel. Little Rock to Memphis, not so much. No demand, No competition really, limited flights, higher prices....always. Are you booking in advance at all? Without being at work I can't look at fares to and from these cities and don't know your dates. Put it this way flights to places that no one goes to unless they live there or visiting family prices are always more expensive. Don't wait last min. to you will be disappointed when you see the price EVEN more. Online or not, travel is changing and Vegas isn't going to be as "cheap" as consumers are used to seeing it. Basically it is coming down to where either you pay the price or you don't go. Simple as that. It will take a while to retrain people, but if you want to go places then well like I said many things are changing......these airlines HAVE to get out of bankruptcy and by giving consumers last min. deals isn't the way to do it.
4 :
That is a pretty crazy price for the flight from Little Rock to Memphis, and it would be such a waste to spend the money since the drive is less than 2 hours on the interstate. Make sure you check out southwest airlines and the cheapies that you see on tv like orbitz and travelocity.
5 :
Many of the airlines hubs are in those cities. One thing you might try is to book a flight from say Detroit to Miami with a connection in Little Rock and just not take the second flight. Alot of times this is actually cheaper than flying into a hub location. I live in Memphis where Northwest's Hub is and they are the costliest to fly in town.

I am traveling from new orleans to memphis. It is cheaper to fly to columbus($159), with a stop in memphis?
than it is to fly just to memphis($359). I don't understand this craziness. Would it be legal or ok for me to fly to memphis buying a columbus ticket? I would just not use the connecting flight to columbus, OH. I just don't know what would happen on my flight back to new orleans...I would be leaving from memphis instead of columbus....Any one have experience with this? or is it worth the trouble? Should I pay $200 more ?

It is cheaper because there is probably more competition with fares on the route to Columbus while there is less competition on the flight to Memphis (thus the higher fare). If you don't show up for one leg fo your journey the other legs will be canceled so I would definitely warn against it.

Memphis airport lost my luggage. Then said its not their responsibility?
I didnt get my luggage back and its been 5 days now.It was in memphis and i missed a flight,i told them to make sure its going to cleveland ohio. They said sure okay! I got there and it wasnt there.I called All the airports in ohio and i recalled memphis and they said my luggage isnt in the lost department. What else could it be?And i dont have bag insurance,Is it possible someone stole it?Also when i called memphis airport they said my bag was never checked! i dont get it,i had it in my hands and they checked it to go to cleveland infront of me?Thanks to anyone who replies. Also how long is the normal estimated time for lost luggage to be found and sent to your house?
Air Travel - 5 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
It is the airline's responsibility. You have to call the airline you flew with.
2 :
Well, the "airport" isn't responsible. The airline may be. You don't give nearly enough information to sort out what happened. Did you start out in Memphis, or make a connection there? What flight did you miss? Why? Where else could it be? It could be wherever you started out from. Or Cleveland. Or Memphis - if you haven't been any clearer in telling them what you're missing than you have in telling your story here, they might not know it's your bag they have. Or it could be anywhere your airline (I'm guessing NWA/Delta, right?) flies. Or, as you say, someone could have stolen it.
3 :
When you checked your luggage in, they were supposed to give you a receipt/claim check for it. Many times these days, this is in the form of a sticker that they put on the envelope your boarding pass is in. It has numbers and codes on it. You need to call the airline you originally checked in with and deal with their lost luggage department. They'll need the information on your claim check.
4 :
As RoofingPrincess says it is the airline you need to contact and not the airport itself. My lost luggage came within 24 hours the two times that it didn't arrive on the same flight as me.
5 :
Not the airport's responsibility but the airlines. And if you did check it, you would have gotten a baggage reciept, especially if you had to pay a checked luggge fee.

once you are in the airport (as for a connecting flight) you don't have to go through security again (unless you are coming from out of the country). Unless your first flight is delayed significantly, you should be just fine with almost 2 hours between flights.

Direct flight little rock to greensboro

Direct flight little rock to greensboro?
I'm trying to find a flight to Greensboro, NC. I have found that I can get a non-stop from Memphis, TN. But, if book the flight from Little Rock, AR to Greensboro, NC the ticket is cheaper. I would have to change planes in Memphis, plus the layover time. The return flight is the same in reverse. As I am closer to Memphis, can I buy the ticket for a flight from Little Rock to Greensboro and then just board in Memphis? Then on the return flight just get off in Memphis instead of going on to Little Rock.

No, if you do not start the flight at the originating city your entire trip will be cancelled if it is a non-refundable ticket. If it is a refundable ticket, you still can't just pick where you want to start. If you show up at Memphis they will charge you the difference in cost. On the way back, you can just get off in Memphis as long as you bring all your belongings onboard. How are they to stop you?! Any checked baggage will be going to Little Rock.

Airplane transfers

Airplane transfers?
My fiance and I are going to Jamacia for our honeymoon in September on Northwest. We are leaving from Minneapolis and will be switching flights in Memphis and then headed to Montego Bay. Do we have to go get our checked luggage and re-check it or do they do all that? Thanks. Thanks all so far for all the information. This is what I thought but wanted to make sure.

Bags are checked through to your final destination on your ticket. So they will be checked all the way to Montego Bay where you will pick them up.
2 :
All airlines forward luggage which is checked in to its final destination, you will not see it until you deplane in Montego Bay. What a lot of fun you're going to have.
3 :
No the airline will transfer your checked luggage to your connecting flight, you only have to pick it up when you arrive in Jamaica. Congrats...

Can you wait for the effects to take hold of people NOT flying because of the TSA's policies

Can you wait for the effects to take hold of people NOT flying because of the TSA's policies?
"flying is not a right!"......"then drive and I can stream through the Gaterape w/o any problems"......."flying is a luxury!"............"they are just scared people will see their little package". All comments I have seen. When ticket prices go up, AND THEY WILL, because fewer people are flying will "some" people change their minds? or when they need a flight to Memphis on Wednesday but can't get one until Friday due to lack of flyers? Let's face it, flying is a volume business.

Do you really think that 99% of the people complaining are actually intending to fly anytime in the forseeable future? All we are getting here is a bunch of hot air from the 'just got home from school' crowd.

How big is Memphis,Tennessee airport

How big is Memphis,Tennessee airport?
Just wondering, because that's one of my layovers and I've never been there before. I'll be escorted by a flight attendant though. The layovers only like 45min so I don't know if I would have enough time to get from gate.
Air Travel - 2 Answers

It's quite small. You can et to about any gate in ten minutes or less.
2 :
The Memphis airport is small enough to get around in easily. It has 3 terminals (A, B, & C) but B is the main terminal. There are only about 42 gates in terminal B (fewer in A and C), and in terminal B, the gates are split into 2 wings. So in reality, you're never much more than 20 or so gates from one end or the other of a terminal. Just keep your fingers crossed that your airline gets you to Memphis on time and you'll have no problem making your next flight. Have a great trip!

Re-imbursed for a trip taken on Feb. 29th, 2008

Re-imbursed for a trip taken on Feb. 29th, 2008?
We had a very bad problem with Delta while flying to Pensacola, Fl. We missed a flight in Memphis due to weather conditions in Grand Rapids, Mi. Upon our arrival there we were given tickets to fly to PNS to Ft. Lauderdale at 7:30 PM There were four of us traveling together for a MS cruise out of FLL, two of them made it on the Delta Flight. The two of us who were traveling with them to assist them because of their medical condition were turned back at the gate because they claim NW failed to put the required number on our ticket. It was a E-ticket Number. Consequently we missed our flight. After haggling with both Delta and NWA we were put on a flight the following day. We gave the person at the gate all of our itinery and the e-ticket number was on everything. We called Minneapolis and they found it on the computer right away. Delta was very nasty with us.....like it was our fault. We had to pay half for our room in FLL which was $50.00 a piece.

Several things that will make a difference. If NWA gave control of your ticket to Delta ( rule 240) Re booking for canceled delayed or misconnect you should be dealing with Delta. Once NWA re booked you as a confirmed Passenger Delta is the responsible airline and trust me NWA payed plenty to confirm you on that flight. I would request a full refund for expenses and the flight as you missed your cruise. It may take a letter to a VP but it is the contract of carriage.
2 :
Airlines that have rebooking/rerouting policies derived from the obsolete Rule 240 (it disappeared when airlines were deregulated) generally do not apply the rule in the case of weather delays. Therefore, the first answer does not apply in this instance, since the initial delays and subsequent reroutes were weather-related. Contractually, neither NW or DL owe anything to you as a result of this incident. From a customer-service standpoint, however, their errors caused your overnight delay, and to that end, I would definitely explain to DL and NW your issues and ask for your hotel room to be reimbursed. It may or may not work, but I think that's your only chance for compensation here.
3 :
well, regardless of who did what, when...the bottom line is that the initial reason for your troubled day, was, weather. had it not been for the weather that day that made you miss your connecting flight in memphis, you would have sailed to FLL and your cruise on time. Weather is an act of God and out of the airlines control. Most airlines will not compensate for anything under those conditions. Contact any airline and ask to read their 'Contract of Carriage', and all of them will tell you the same thing. In this time of economic upheaval in the airline industry...my guess is that you're just going to have to eat it on this one...but then, it never hurts to voice your displeasure...remember...the squeeky wheel, SOMETIMES gets the grease.

How can I get from Seattle to Whistler, BC, at a reasonable price

How can I get from Seattle to Whistler, BC, at a reasonable price?
I'm planning a trip to Whistler next winter. I found a nonstop Delta flight from Memphis to Seattle, which was about half the price of flying on a 1 stop flight from Memphis to Vancouver. I want to find a way to Whistler from Seattle that will not end up costing me more than the flight itself! I've looked at AmTrak, Greyhound, and Coach Canada (which doesn't offer anything from Washington state). Is there a reasonable priced coach and/or train company that will get me to Whistler?

I thought I gave you some hints on this when I answered your first question. But never mind, I just checked again on the sites I recommended before. But I know what you mean about costing as much to get from Seattle to Whistler costing just as much as flying from Memphis to Seattle. I live on Vancouver Island and it will cost me at least $250 to get to Seattle and back no matter which way I go, and then $300 from Seattle to Tampa and back. Doesn't make sense but there it is. Quick Shuttle from Seatac to Vancouver airport, return trip, $81.70 US in the middle of February. Pacific Coach Lines shuttle from Vancouver airport to Whistler, maximum $149 return CAD depending where you want to go in Whistler. There's a cheaper bus to Whistler from Vancouver, the Snowbus. To get that one, I'd take the Quick Shuttle out of Seatac into downtown Vancouver, to the closest location the Snowbus stops at. You can probably find one that's walkable; if not, a taxi won't cost much. Or take it to Vancouver airport and then take a taxi or the Skytrain to the River Rock/Bridgeport stop in Richmond, which is not far from the airport. Timing will be much more crucial with that bus because it only leaves twice a day weekdays and 3 times on Friday to Sunday. You'll have to get to Seatac pretty early unless you're flying on a weekend
3 :
Amtrak will get you from Seattle to Whistler for $55-$60 one way. It's a train ride to Vancouver and a bus to Whistler. It's an all-day affair; but "time is money" as they say. You might also look for someone who wants to share a ride in exchange for gas money. We Seattlites head up to Whistler all the time. Whistler's website even has a page (link below) for ridesharing.

AIRLINE QUESTION

AIRLINE QUESTION?!.............?
Hi, we have family flying in from Chicago now. (You know the mess)!! Well the flight has been delayed from 5:10 to 6:13..not important They are flying to Memphis then connecting there on to final destination here. They would have missed the flight in Memphis, however that flight has been delayed in Denver. It is not leaving until 6:18Central. It will get in Memphis at 8:30. The flight from Memphis was originally supposed to leave at 7:55, but with the delay from Denver, it SHOULD be later... but it is saying on Northwest online that that flight isnt delayed... is it just lagging or can they get another plane to take the place of the plane from Denver?? *SORRY that was confusing... Okay they are about to leave from Chicago in route to Memphis. From Memphis they are gonig in route to final destination...(Huntsville) Okay... the plane that is from Memphis to Huntsville is coming from Denver, CO. The flight leaving from Denver to Memphis has been delayed and will be getting in Memphis at 8:30. The flight from Memphis to Huntsville was orginally set for 7:55 and so my family would miss it coming from Chicago because their flight gets in about 8:15-8:30. *Since the plane is delayed leaving from Denver, it SHOULD be delayed leaving from Memphis to Huntsville. If it is to be delayed because the plane will not get to Memphis on scheduled arrival time, my family COULD make the flight. HOWEVER, on NWA.com, it says that the flight from Memphis to Huntsville IS NOT delayed but has the same flight number. Could it be that they are getting another plane to take the Denver plane's place?!?

They may be able to get another flight to take the place of that one in Denver. If your family missed that connecting flight in Denver though, chances are they are still there, and will have to wait for another that has room for them. Is the final destination Memphis? What you wrote is a little confusing.
2 :
This is very commonly the case. Bad weather affects most routes. So a delay will most probably delay other flights as well. Kind of a domino effect. I don't think it's probable that the airline will find a replacement aircraft and crew just because it's late from Denver. It will be announced as late in Memphis.
3 :
If the plane from Denver to Memphis is the same plane that will your family to Huntsville, then the flight from Memphis will be delayed only because they're using the same plane. Otherwise, I doubt if they'll bring another plane in to fly from Memphis to Huntsville, as I doubt that demand for that route is very high and most people flying to Memphis from Denver will probably either transfer to other destinations or stay in Memphis. Only Northwest can tell you for sure, you might have to wait awhile to find out what the new schedule is or perhaps you can call your family if they have a cell phone and see what they know.

when i have a layover and connect to an international flight, do i need to pick up my luggage on the layover

when i have a layover and connect to an international flight, do i need to pick up my luggage on the layover?
and then recheck my luggage in or do I just check in my luggage from my departure place and then pick up at my final destination? I am flying DSM to memphis to the carribean.. havent flown in 5 years so i cant remember.
Air Travel - 4 Answers

1 :
no you dont
2 :
As long as your layover is still within the US you won't have to. But lots of times when you're returning to the US and you have a layover, you have to go through immigration and pick up your luggage and recheck it before continuing to your connecting flight, but lots of times when you're coming from the Caribbean, depending on which part of the Caribbean, they do all the immigration stuff before, so you won't have to do it during your layover.
3 :
Which airline are you flying on from Des Moines/Memphis/Caribbean on? I would assume Northwest since Memphis one of their hub cities. If you are staying on the same airline, then they will check your bag through all the way to your final destination in the Caribbean. When you are on your layover in Memphis, you will just go to the international side of the airport and find your gate and wait to leave Memphis. But it isn't always so simple. For instance, if you are flying on two different airlines, you need to make sure the airlines are in a code share agreement. A code share means that multiple airlines sell tickets on each other to give the traveler the most flexibility. If the airlines are in a codeshare, then they transfer your bags for you as well and they are able to check them through all the way to your final destination. There are some instances when the airlines are not in code shares. Such an instance would be **Example** flying on Southwest Airlines from New Orleans to Orlando and then from Orlando to Cancun on JetBlue. Those airlines do not have any agreements with each other. In this instance, you would have to claim your bags in Orlando, and then recheck them in with JetBlue to CUN. The same thing would happen when the passenger would fly back. Why do people do this? Well sometimes going on different airlines can save you a lot of money, but it also costs you a lot of time. Again, if you are on one airline, then you'll just check in your bags one time and pick them up in your final destination. But if you know you're on two different carriers, just ask the reservation agent when you check-in if your bags are going to be checked in all the way to the Caribbean. Have a safe flight!
4 :
If you are just making a connection in Memphis, the agent in Des Moines will check your luggage through to your Caribbean destination. Regards, Dan PS Don't use the term "layover" unless you are going to be in a city for a while-days.

1. Hawaii time is 4 hours behind Houston. Therefore it would be 9:30 am Hawaii time when you fly out. Therefore if you arrive at 7:08 am, you must have had to overnight somewhere and the trip lasted 21 hours and 38 minutes. 2. LA is 3 hours behind NY so you flew out at 5 pm LA time and if you arrive at 9:53 pm, the flight took 4 hours and 53 minutes. 3. DC and Boston are in the same time zone so the flight took 1 hour and 4 minutes. Memphis is 1 hour behnd New York so if you depart 7:20 CST, then that is 8:20 EST and the arrival time would be 12:15 pm. DC is 3 hours ahead of Portland so if you fly out at 11:05 am EST, that is 8:05 am, PST and an 8 hour 35 minute flight gets you into Portland at 4:40 pm.

has anyone flown from lax to memphis on a nortwest airlines?
im flying there next week and i want to know how the flight went and there was a lot of turbulence or not??? can anyone help?? and has anyone flown on a319 was there a lot of turbulence ?
Air Travel - 2 Answers

1 :
The type of aircraft you fly on will not determine how much turbulence you will experience. A lot will depend on how the weather is between LAX and Memphis. If there are a lot of storms or cloud cover, you will experience more turbulence than if you fly on a clear day with no clouds. The A319 is a decent airplane. I have flown the A320 which is just a little bit bigger than the A319 multiple times.
2 :
the turbulence has nothing to do with the jet. The weather is what affects whether there will be much turbulence. LAX to Memphis was very smooth for me two weeks ago. best flight for this route are on NorthWest Airlines. Non-Stop!!!

most likely!
2 :
prepare for it! thundershowers are often accompanied by lightning, and there are strict FAA guidelines that must be followed when lightning strikes are in the area. for instance, when lightning strikes just a few miles away, the entire ramp & tarmac have to shut down. that means no baggage handlers to load the plane, to guide the aircraft to the gate, to service the lavatories, to load the snacks and drinks, etc. they are required to STOP WORK and get indoors. what's that mean? DELAY!

The things I want to carry on, are they ok?
I'm going on a flight soon from Memphis to Washington, DC. I'm only going to spend 3 nights there. I'm not taking a whole lot just for the 3 nights... I'm taking some changes of clothes, tooth brush, tooth paste and my cell phone and maybe a portable cd player with my headphones. All this is going in my back pack... I want to carry this on the plane with me... Should I have any problems with those simple things?

It sounds ok, but if you're worried, check w/ the TSA website to be sure. They have a list of prohibited items.
2 :
All of these items should be fine. Just make sure the toothpaste is travel size. The same would hold true with shampoo. You should be able to find all of this information by going to your airlines website.
3 :
The toothpaste (and any other liquids or gels) needs to be in container that holds 3 oz or less, so you'd need to get a travel sized tube of toothpaste. Other than that it should be fine. You can find a full list of permitted and prohibited items here: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm
4 :
your stuff looks ok, but you will checked many times. Ship as many items as possible and keep asd less items as possible with you.
5 :
Make sure you put ALL gels/liquids/pastes/creams inside a sealed plastic bag (like Hefty). I would wear flip-flops and go without a belt if possible (no pocket change); this will help you go through security faster and with less hassle.
6 :
Well, dude, I suggest that you leave the toothpaste at home and buy a small tube when you get to Washington. There are drug stores and supermarkets aplenty and you can easily get to them and spend your 69 cents. The TSA will confiscate toothpaste if it is not new and less than 3 ounces and presented in a clear, 1 quart size, plastic bag. Just downright easier to leave it at home and buy a new one when you get to DC.

it's best when you book Always
2 :
The longer in advance you buy the cheaper it becomes. For instance, (in AUD) I traveled from Sydney to Perth, booked at last minute with Qantas for $200 return. In the same instance, 4 weeks prior to traveling, I only paid $180 return. It pays off to book beforehand by as long as possible!
3 :
Sooner is almost always better.
4 :
Los Angeles, CA (LAX) to Memphis, TN (MEM) well here is a price quote for a flight 2 weeks from today http://farecast.live.com/flightSearch.do?t=r&vo1=Los+Angeles%2C+CA+%28LAX%29+-+Los+Angeles+International+Airport&o=LAX&ve1=Memphis%2C+TN+%28MEM%29+-+Memphis+International+Airport&e=MEM&d1=03%2F04%2F2009&r1=03%2F18%2F2009&p=1&b=COACH and here is a quote 6 months from now http://farecast.live.com/flightSearch.do?t=r&vo1=Los+Angeles%2C+CA+%28LAX%29+-+Los+Angeles+International+Airport&o=LAX&ve1=Memphis%2C+TN+%28MEM%29+-+Memphis+International+Airport&e=MEM&d1=08%2F19%2F2009&r1=09%2F09%2F2009&p=1&b=COACH looks like you would save $150.00 in this example if you wait until 2 weeks before but remember its a gamble and you have to be flexible on times and non stop vs 1 stop I prefer to spend about $100.00 more round trip for non stop on cross country flights its worth it to me. if you do a non stop then from your house to your final destination (hotel, friends home, whereever) is about 8 to 9 hrs travel time. Most people don't remember that you have to be at the airport one to one and half hours before your flight takes off. then cross country flights are 5-6 hrs non stop. then get from the airport to where you are going in MEM is about hour. It adds up quick. now if you throw in a layover in some other state thats a leeast 2 hours more of travel time. You pay $100 or less to get rid of 2hr layover out and back you just saved 4 hours of your life traveling and you can do something else with the time. Like eating something other than airport food. So anyways the website i use has price pretiction software give you an educated guess if the fare is going to go up or down in the next seven days. I booked a trip to Cabo San Lucas using this website last month and I had been watch the fares for 6 mos they started at 550.00 round trip and last month I found a fare for 251.00 I saved 300.00 bucks times 2 people 600.00 total savings. So put in your travel dates and register on the website an they will e mail you the price update everyday. Another website if you have flexible travel dates is www.hotwire.com you can do a flexible date search and it will show you the cheapest days to travel and the dates. they dont show you the airlines or the flight itiniery until you buy the tickets so that kinda stinks Good luck

If you book your air tickets through web travel portal, you will definitely cut the extra expenses and it will be a money saving step. It is always better to book your flight well in advance to get the benefit of special offers and discounts. If you book your flight at weekend, the ticket costs more money because most people travel on weekends. Smart, Enthusiastic, Self motivated, Energetic, Polite and all the adjective possible. The make around 3000-5000$ per month. The best place to live is near the airport where the airline regularly fly. No specific place suggestion. For any kind of career related questions see the link below: http://www.ugrowu.com/postprofessional_intro
2 :
The city to live in would depend on the airline and where you will be based out of. The amount you make will vary on this as well. FA are paid by the hours that they work and are hourly.

Whats the CHEAPEST way to travel from NYC to Memphis Tennesee

Whats the CHEAPEST way to travel from NYC to Memphis Tennesee?
The plane tickets are ridiculous sometimes. And I am wondering if maybe there is a dirt cheap airline that i may not know about. Forget the bus thats like sitting for close to two days. Anyway if there are any flight booking tricks that you guys may know between the two destinations, let me know.

Try Amtrak. Memphis is a really expensive city to fly into due to airport fees or something. I have to fly there and can never find cheap tickets. Good luck.

If you fly out of Newarlk Liberty (EWR) you could pay close to US$250.00 if you book tweek in advance with US Air. Set back is they have a 75 minute lay over so you would take 4 hours to land (if no weather at computer delay) in TN. https://www.orbitz.com/Secure/ViewFlightInformation?gcid=C11287x059&WT.mc_ev=click&WT.mc_id=e28&retrieveParams=true&z=49b6&r=2&z=49b8&r=4&lastPage=interstitial

maybe you can build a crate and ship yourself to mEMphis. it would be an adventure.

The best advice I can give you is to BOOK EARLY. My favorite places for tickets are: cheapoair.com and cheaptickets.com they literally have some of the lowest prices I've seen, and I fly from NY to Florida (with a connection, sometimes in Atlanta (once in Memphis)) about once every two months to visit my boyfriend. Once I book those tickets, I call up the airline that I went with, and pick out my seats, etc.

How long would this flight be

How long would this flight be?
I'm 14 fly alone alot and i have to have alot of stops, because I cant stand being on a flight for more than 2-3hours. August 15th I'm going to Fairbanks,Alaska from Oklahoma City,Oklahoma. I have a layover in Memphis,Tennessee and Minneapolis St.Paul on Northwest Airlines. I haven't flown Northwest in awhile. Some airlines seem to get to places faster than others. How many hours do you think these flights would be?

Quite difficult as for a flight change etc what is the stopover time would be difficult to figure out in case there is one .Direct flights take lesser time than the others .
3 :
If you have already booked these tickets, the itinerary should have departure and arrival times for every flight, and may also have flight duration times. You can figure this out yourself much more easily than anyone else. If you don't have flight duration times, then get a US map with time zones (almost all highway maps show the timezones) and figure it out. Remember that arrival and departure times are always given in the local time zone for the airport. I am sure you can do this.

Help Im running out of time

Help Im running out of time?
Hi, I am thirteen years old and I need some help. I am going to Florida in two days from now and two days after that I will be going back to school. What my questions were are 1. what can I do on a 1 hour flight to memphis and a 3 or four hour flight from memphis to Flordia near the Ocean that would help me out a lot for school and other things? and .2.If I had extra time what else could I do? P.S. What are the best places that most 13 or 14 or so teenagers go to hang out in Ft. Lauderdale? Thanks. Bye.

Should this affect my flight

Should this affect my flight?
We are going on our honey moon on Sept. 24th and flying out of Mephis to Jamaica. The Airline is Northwest Airlines, and I heard that the workers are going on strike. We've already had so much trouble out of the airline. They changed thier flight schedule and now instead of leaving out of the Louiville airport we have to drive to Memphis on the wedding night to get on a plane there, so it wouldn't interfere with our reservations at the resort. Would the strike affect my flight, or should it be over by then?

I live in Detroit, which is where Northwest has another one of its main hubs. The word on the street here is the Northwest execs don't want a strike, so they're working very hard to avoid one. If they do strike, there will be some interruption of service and some flights will be canceled, but there's no way of knowing how all that will fall out unless they DO go on strike.

it should be over by then.

Either way - Good Luck I would actually, contact my travel agent, and try to make other flight arrangements. Congrats

Transportation between Laguardia and JFK airports ?
I have a flight coming from Memphis, TN and landing in Laguardia , NY at 12:00 pm (noon) and another one leaving from JFK to Egypt at 6:30 pm. I need to know, what are the available means of transportation and what is the best ? How much will it cost ? (We are a couple and we may be carrying 3 bags, not sure yet ). Thank you. And what if I have only a carry-on (In case we send the bags directly from Memphis to Cairo) ?

Cab - there is a cab line by ground transportation - this will be the easiest way b/c you are carrying bags and it will be cumbersome if you try to take the trains. a cab shouldnt cost you more than $20 - i'd be very suprised if it was more that $15. and you will have plenty of time to make your flight

What's the best site for cheap flight tickets

What's the best site for cheap flight tickets?
I need some help finding some cheap flight tickets. This will be my first time flying and I'm not familiar with a reasonable price of plane tickets. I will be flying from Memphis, TN to Los Angeles California April 12-15. What are web sites that I can go to to find some reasonable price plane tickets and what's the best day to buy those tickets?
Air Travel - 6 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
The best site from my experiences is orbitz. I always find good deals. Unfortunately, the best time to buy tickets is either Saturday at midnight or Wednesday at midnight. It's one of those, but I'm not sure which. I am more positive about Wednesday, though. Reasonable plane tickets for your trip should be from $250 to $350. I searched orbitz and with those dates, I found the cheapest tickets are $266. For future reference, try to book a lot earlier than this, if possible, because you have more time to search for the best deals and as you get closer to the travel dates, the prices go up. Good luck and happy ticket hunting!
2 :
kayak.com
3 :
There are certainly many website that offer deals on travel, keeping that in mind I always suggest comparing prices with several travel websites before booking any travel. Many of the "big" name sites are really owned by the same company (hence the prices will all be about the same). If these are the only sites you check, then you won't know that there are better deals out there! I suggest always trying this travel site to compare prices (hope this helps)! www.everydaytravelconnections.com
4 :
There is no best day to buy tickets. The price can change at anytime. Now there are certain days that will make your trip cheaper as in flying midweek to midweek. With only a month out, it is highly unlikely that you will find cheap fares anymore. Except fares to only go up.
5 :
Honestly the best way to go is to book directly through the airline's website. I have ran across too many passengers who have had their itineraries messed up by third party booking companies. I checked Continental Airlines for you and the price quote with taxes and all is $291.30. United shows a little bit higher at $445. US Airways shows $414. Delta Airlines shows $445. American Airlines shows $444. Like I said, I've seen too many itineraries messed up or dropped by places like Orbitz or Cheap-O-Air. Continental Airlines would be your best bet!
6 :
Try http://www.kayak.com. Delta/Northwest should have a direct flight from Memphis to LAX. I would start searching for tickets now and buy no later than March 28. Sometimes flying on a Tuesday or Wednesday is a little cheaper so if you are flexible with your dates of travel, that would be good. Another option is if you are willing to drive to Nashville, Southwest Airlines flies out of there and the ticket price may be a little lower.

To my knowledge, there are currently no airlines flying nonstop on the MEM-JFK route. The Wikipedia page for MEM indicates that Delta had been operating this route (under the Comair/Delta Connection banner); however, the January 2011 timetable for Delta does not list any flights on the route at this time. Unfortunately, it appears that at this time, any flights to New York would require either a connection to get you to JFK, or flying into one of the other New York airports (LaGuardia or Newark) and then transferring to JFK on the ground.

Delta have non-stop from Memphis to New York - La Guardia (if you are going to Manhattan, LGA is a lot quicker and cheaper to go from) and Continental flies non-stop from Memphis to Newark, which is still closer to Manhattan than going from JFK. Hope this helps.

... by dispatch, but when you compare then the north atlantic tracks (NXXWXX) from this flight plan to the real time NAT tracks which you can find online, they are not exactly the same? (i looked up the flight Northwest 58 from memphis to amsterdam, which leaves tonight, and there is written that the first waypoint over the atlantic is '47 north, 70 west', however, when you compare to the real time NAT tracks for tonight on https://www.notams.jcs.mil/common/nat.html you can see that non of these tracks begin with 47N070W... Go see her, she is worth it isn't she?
2 :
"Economy Super Saver" is the generic terminology used on aa.com by American Airlines for its restricted coach tickets. Typically, the ticket will be refundable and has a $150 change fee that is charged in the event that you need to change your date. I'd also note that the $139 price you're seeing is probably the one-way price -- American's website prices round-trip tickets based on the cost for each direction, so there would be an additional charge for your return flight. In addition, there will be certain fees and taxes added onto the price -- typically, for a domestic trip on AA, those fees will be an additional $30 to $40, depending on the itinerary. Once you've selected your flights and gotten the total price after tax, you can then pay for the ticket online using a credit card or PayPal, or you can place the reservation on hold and purchase it up to 24 hours later.
3 :
I believe that is a one-way price and does not include taxes. Go to www.tripadvisor.com and go to Flights. Enter the dates you want to travel, and it will give you roundtrip prices including taxes. If you have a friend who has booked airline tickets online, ask them for help. It is not that easy to do if you are a first timer. You can drive it in about 7 and a half hours.

How big is the Memphis airport

How big is the Memphis airport?
I am looking at booking a flight that only has a 35 minute layover in Memphis. I really don't want to but it's my only option besides spending an extra $150, seriously. Is the airport easy to get around in? I looked at the map of the gates but that is barely any help . . . Any input is appreciated.

Memphis is not big compared to Denver, O'Hare, Atlanta, LA or Las Vegas but I wouldn't do a 35 minute connection at any airport. The minimum would be 45 minutes - 60 minutes. You have to allow for late arrivals for your 1st leg of the trip. Also with so many people having carry-ons it takes forever to deplane, especially if you are in the last 2/3 of the plane. Denver was a minimum connection time of 50 minutes and that was 3 years ago. To increase your odds of having you flights on time book an early morning flight.
2 :
It's very easy to get around and big enough to keep you occupied with lots of interesting shops.

Are there maps? I can't find any. My parents are looking at buying a home in Spokane, Washington. Currently, they live in a home that is under the FedEx flight path in Memphis and they hate it! 1 :
Ask the people who already live in the neighborhood.
2 :
http://skyvector.com/ is the solution for you i think. but it wont be too easy to understand. best chance is to ask people living there.
3 :
Hang out in the neighborhood and look up in the sky or ask someone who lives there. You could always look up the approach/arrival charts for whatever airport you're worried about and map it out to see if it goes over the house. Keep in mind though that those kinds of things tend to change over the years, so if you live close enough to an airport, the chance is always there that the planes will fly overhead. If you really don't want to hear airplanes, then don't buy a house anywhere near an airport.
4 :
Move to a remote area that has no airports within 500 miles, and not a significant population that might cause an airport to be built within their lifetime. Don't know about FedEx, but UPS lands a plane every 30 second weekday nights at Louisville. Flight paths can change at any time. Flight patterns around local cities is about all you can have your real estate agent check.
5 :
Spend a day there. Listen. You could get the charts for the area, and ask about military training that may happen in the area too.
6 :
You need to look at a flight chart of your area to see if any airways exist above your area. Go to skyvector.com and click on the chart that is in your area. Then, you'll notice a series of circles with tik marks, which are called VORs. These VORs have airways coming put of them, shown as light blue lines and their names start with a "V". Jets and airlines only fly on those designated airways. As long as none of those airways are above the location of the house, you won't get any jets flying above, except if you are in the immediate vicinity of a major airport.
7 :
Actual flight paths can change in an instant. Sometimes planes have to choose a different route due to weather or other reasons. Also, I don't think that you are looking to be clear of the flight path of airplanes, but rather away from the approach/departure path. You probably don't want the noise coming from planes overhead. My suggestion is to simply find a home away from an airport. As long as a plane is cruising you're not going to be annoyed by its flight path because its too high to be a nuissance (especially commercial jets which fly pretty high). However, when they are low (during approach and takeoff) you can hear them quite clearly. As long as you keep away from an airport you should be able to avoid any unwanted noise from aircraft
8 :
go to flightaware.com and enter the nearest airport you are concerned about and watch where the airplanes fly. Check it out a few times a day for a few weeks to see where you should avoid. There is no way to guarantee that you won't have an airplane flying overhead. I don't live anywhere near an airport but I heard an f-16 flying over my house at 7 this morning. No reason for it, and it doesn't happen often, but it is going to happen no matter where you live.
9 :
Simple, ask the Realtor, they have to (by law) disclose the fact. They have the means to find out if they do not have personal knowledge. Or you could go to the courthouse and look at the tax maps that show where the airport is. Stay away 30 miles and you will not have to suffer that great sound of FREEDOM
10 :
One simple quick check is to view the airport on google maps and see how the runways are oriented. The loudest noise will be along the centerlines of the runways in either direction (depending on wind on any given day) and extending out about 3 miles or so. If you are in those zones, you will definitely have noise. Bear in mind that new runways could be constructed in the future. Being outside of these zones does not guarantee silence, but it should be noticeably less. Get outside of 10 miles and you would have to be rather sensitive to be bothered there. It also makes sense to check the IFR departure plates, especially when there are parallel runways because they don't always depart straight.
11 :
Hang out on the street in front of the house for 20 mintues. If no planes fly over then you are fine.
12 :
If you don't like plane noise don't move close to Fairchild AFB haha. Like other people said, check out websites like flight aware. Or look at google maps and draw a straight line extending 4 or 5 miles from the runways - that is most likely where the worst of the plane noise will be. On the good side, most airports won't have as much nighttime and early morning noise as Memphis.

Yes 40 is enough time, as the airline computer would not let you book a ticket otherwise.
2 :
you should be fine. just get to your next gate before stopping at starbucks
3 :
Barely. In the future make sure you leave at least an hour (plus a little). If your inbound has any delays you could be hustling. The good news is Memphis is a fairly small airport so you should be OK even with 20 or 30 minutes. But don't do that to yourself again. I fly all the time and shoot for 1-1/2 hours on connections.

Is there a penalty if you voluntarily miss your flight

Is there a penalty if you voluntarily miss your flight?
NWA canceled one of my flights, and since I'm using Expedia there are certain rules that the reschedule has to follow: it has to be memphis to las vegas and has to be on northwest. My final destination is LAX. I've found a new flight that is memphis to las vegas, connecting in LAX. It obviously would be silly to then catch the rest of the flight to las vegas only to fly back to LAX. Is it a problem to book this mem-las (via lax) flight and then just miss the last 2 legs? If it's okay, what is the 'responsible' way to do this? Do I just not check-in for the rest of the flights I'm not taking? I was told by Expedia that since the last leg of the flight is through UA, it was all booked as a UA ticket, so I can't take any different route to LAX except via that UA flight(las vegas). As far as they're concerned, they have to get me to Las Vegas only, since the rest of the trip was unchanged(LAS to LAX). Thanks all! It's moot anyway. I called Expedia again and they say I must have a MEM-LAS-LAX route, and the first leg must be NW and the last must be UA. So I am really left with just one option...a flight 11hrs earlier than I originally planned.
Air Travel - 3 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
I think you've misunderstood something. If LAX is your ticketed destination, you would NOT have to go through Las Vegas on your rebooked flight.
2 :
If you choose to miss a flight, any remaining flights on the itinerary are automatically cancelled, so what you are proposing to do would only work if you were trying not to get back to Memphis. The conditions of carriage on many airlines also specifically prohibit this kind of ticketing (called "throwaway ticketing"), and list a number of penalties that, while seldom issued, can be levied against the passenger, such as charging the difference between what was paid and what was actually flown. However, if NW cancelled one of your flights, either they or Expedia should work with you to get a routing that works for you. The reasoning behind your post and the restrictions that you claim to exist regarding the rebooking, however, make little sense -- perhaps you could clarify why you believe you must rebook a MEM-LAS flight on NW, if your final destination is actually LAX.
3 :
Are you sure about your original routing? ie. was it MEM-LAS-LAX? it would not make sense to have a route MEM-LAX-LAS-LAX, unless there was a break between the last leg from LAS-LAX? As for stopping doing MEM-LAX, you hae two potential problems, your luggage is checked through to LAX, but on the later LAS-LAX flight, so you'll need to wait for it to arrive! And if you just take carry-on but have a return ticket, all legs after MEM-LAX are likely to be cancelled as you'll be listed as a no show!

Flight question: Is 45 minutes enough time

Flight question: Is 45 minutes enough time..?
for my checked bags to make it onto my connecting flight? On my way home from my trip, I cannot find any flights with longer connecting times (that don't cost hundreds $$ more). Here is what will happening: I'll be flying on Delta airlines. I have multiple connecting flights (no option for a direct flight with this trip). One of my connecting flights is in Memphis, which isn't a problem (I have a 2 hour layover in Memphis, which should be okay), but the next one is in Minneapolis, and only gives 45 minutes before my flight for home in Albany takes off. Flying under the same airline, I am confident that I can make each connecting flight, as I've already printed out maps, and highlighted where I need to be (with the exception of exact gate number, but Delta's planes will all be in the same terminal - or so I was told). And, if there is a problem, I've been told that Delta will take care of me because they booked the flights. Now my main concern here is my luggage. I will be checking a bag straight through to my destination, but I'm wondering, is 45 minutes enough time for my luggage to get from one plane to the other?
Air Travel - 4 Answers

1 :
if you make your connections and all and you don't get flagged that means the connections can be made. and if you don't make it you can go complaint ask for coupons for drinks and food.
2 :
Yes. I live in Minneapolis and the MSP airport is one of the most efficient airline in the United States. It is not up to you, but up to the airline staff to make sure that your luggage gets to the other plane. If you are completely in doubt, you can try to call and ask if 45 minutes is enough a the MSP airport, but I think you are fine. Good luck!
3 :
45 minutes is enough time for your luggage to be transferred. I took an international connecting flight over 3 dozen times that had a 40 minute layover and never once had my luggage delayed or lost. Sure there's a chance your luggage can get lost or delayed, but from my experiences 45 minutes is plenty of time for luggage to be transferred.
4 :
It should not be a problem as you are flying the same airline throughout all your schedule. Airline computer systems are very sophisticated and it will flag missing or late bags to the loading crew. If you bag does miss a flight the responsibility of the airline is to get that bag to you as fast as possible and to compensate you for the delay. Compensation depends on the country but is normally guaged to be enough to purchase a change of clothes and emergency toiletries.
