Can you use scholarship money for transportation

Can you use scholarship money for transportation?
I'm apply to Cornell for the Summer Session. I'm also applying for the program's financial aid. They only have partial aid so I'd still be out of a lot of money. I read on the site that you can use other grants, loans and scholarships to attend that school. If I got more than enough to go to the school and had money left over, could I use the extra money for a flight to the school. P.S. I'm in Memphis, TN and the school is in Ithaca, New York.

Alaska Airlines

I'd go for FedEx. They are right in your neighborhood and they pay quite well.

The best American Airline to work for is, sadly, a foreign airline. The situation is so dire for airlines that going to work for any of them is a risk. And getting in is quite difficult, with high competition and so on. I would compile a list of the things that are important to you, and talk to recruiters for each of the airlines that service where you want to live. But whatever you do, at all costs avoid United Airlines.
4 :
DoNot, DoNot....become a flight attendant under any circumstances. Stay away from the airline industry entirely. You have a college education...surely your talents and initiative allow you to aim higher than a dead end job such as this. Do you think you would enjoy breathing dirty air 8 hours a day? How about premature aging of your beautiful skin? How about no social / family life because you are away 14+ nights per month. Like working on Christmas, Thanksgiving, your childs birthday, Fourth of July? Do you like sleeping in mediocre hotels or traveling in semi-safe crew vans? Give yourself a BIG break...run away from and forget anything at all about this flight attendant nonsense.

Alaska Air or Horizon.

Southwest airlines is the most consistently profitable and has fewer lay offs of anyone. They have a 401K instead of a traditional retirement plan. American Airlines is the only international US airlines to not file bankruptcy. They still have their pension plan intact, unlike most other who have dumped their plans. With American, you can also add a life partner onto your benefits and flight priveleges. If you are single this is nice because you can have someone to travel with you. But if you want to live in Tennesse, try FedEx as someone suggested. Or better yet, the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Continental Airlines for International travel and if you just want to fly domestic, Southwest Airlines. Last time I checked Fedex didn't have Flight Attendants.

I'm flying from Memphis, TN out to Dallas, TX tomorrow...weather

I'm flying from Memphis, TN out to Dallas, TX tomorrow...weather!?
Well all the websites are all giving me different forcasts for the weather. At like 7:00 our plane from Memphis is taking the 1 and a half hour flight to Dallas, TX, where we will then take off again to Tucson, AZ. Anyway, just wondering, if you live in the Dallas area, what do you think the weather will be like? I'm really kinda freaking out, I have a major phobia of planes and don't want a troublesome bumpy flight.

Well i live in San Antonio, TX and Dallas is about 5-6 hours NW. Over here it is pretty cold but no snow or rain. in Dallas there maybe some snow since it is up north. Don't get scared on the plane, it will get bumpy but its just turbulence. it has happened on every plane i go on even in bright sunny skies. P.S. The Dallas airport is really nice and big just try not to get lost because the trolley shuttle things get kind of confusing.

right now it is 79 and cloudy, very windy. Supposed to get a lot of rain overnight and thru the morning. Sorry, but bumps are likely--don't worry, though, they aren't dangerous! Take a Xanax....
