What are the procedures for Unaccompanied Minors on flights

What are the procedures for Unaccompanied Minors on flights?
I am flying from Memphis to Geneva with a connection in Amsterdam. I have flown many times and I am not worried. I don't want to be treated like a baby and I want to be able to carry my own documents, make my connection by myself. Is that possible?....how will i be treated?

How old are you? Even if your old enough not to a mandatory chaperone, your parents can still make you have one. And how will you be treated will most likely depend on your age. If your 14, then you should expect to be treated like a 14 yr old by adults.

It depends on your age and the airline you are flying on. Perhapes your parents can tell them that this isn't your first time flying and they will let you have more responsibility

DARN you failed to state how you are! sometimes airlines will not let minors make connections the flight has to be direct or nonstop and each airline has different rules some airlines say you can be consider an adult at 12 (southwest for example) other airlines say 14, and 15 but since you didn't say what airline nor how you are old its hard to give you an answer some times you will need a parent or guardian to go with the gate and then the same on the other end then its will be up to the country you flying some times they wont let in minors unless they have notarized notes from BOTH parents permission and proof that you are not a runway but since you didnt say what airline.........
