What a good place to go on vacation for not alot of money?
i live in Martin TN (a couple hours north of memphis) and i want to go some where on vacation, preferably a large sity, and if you could find a cheap flight out of the country that would be great but if not inside the US is fine, any ideas? my airfare cash limit is 2000

If you're really concerned about costs, forget about trips outside the USA. Try the National Parks system. Big cities represent the highest costs for doing anything - eating, staying in a hotel, seeing entertainment.

If you are going out of the US, you will need a passport. Also, international travel is not known for being "not alot of money", even to inexpensive destinations, because of the airfare. For low-cost vacations, consider national parks and state parks. The TN state park system has many parks with cabin rentals and lots of recreational opportunities. Also, consider stay-cations. You stay at home and take day trips. Since you are in Martin, you could take a day trip to Memphis, one to Reelfoot Lake, one to Tunica, one on the Natchez Trace, and one to Nashville.

Cheapest would probably be to Canada. I would suggest Toronto or Montreal. If you are looking for a "foreign flavor" then definately Montreal. People there like to pretend that nobody understands English! These days you will probably need a Passport for Canada.
