Why did Sid no show an indy event

Why did Sid no show an indy event?
- Sid Vicious was scheduled to wrestle for Dreamwave Wrestling on June 5th in LaSalle, Illinois but did not show up. The promoters got word that morning that Sid didn’t board his flight and spent all day trying to get in touch with him. Sid finally called them back and said that when he got to the airport, he forgot to bring his passport so they wouldn’t let him board the flight. Keep in mind Sid was flying from Memphis, TN to Chicago, IL. For those who haven’t figured it out yet, you don’t need a passport to fly within the country. Credit: WrestlingHeadlines.com It really makes you think, the promoters aren't the only ones who do the screwing in the business. It really is a two way street, and talent is far from innocent in many situations Then why would he agree to the event in the first place? If you agree to an event knowing all the details, you should show up

Maybe he didn't want to leave his home in Memphis to fly to a different state for little pay at an indy show, i sure wouldn't!

It's softball season.

Maybe he realizes he should be in a nursing home instead of a wrestling ring.

I've worked with a lot of wrestlers and can say only this: there are three sides to every story (yours mind and the truth) who knows what really happened here, it could have been anything really. The story that came out may even be a partial truth. Talent generally won't accept bookings that they have no intention of keeping.
