Does anyone understand how the baggage fees work for Continental Airlines

Does anyone understand how the baggage fees work for Continental Airlines?
okay i remember having to pay $15.00 for my first checked bag when i departed & then going back, i had to pay $15.00 again. Is that because i was a first time flier, or they do this every time you check your baggage into the airport? i really don't understand how it works, i've tried going to the website & reading about it, but it confused the hell out of me. how we booked the flight: we called a travel agent & they sent us the ticket. i went from memphis to newark. and now i booked a flight for next week & did it on orbitz.com & i'm taking continental express again. now i am traveling from nashville to newark. do i still have to pay the $15.00? well cultural insite, apparently you didn't read my description very well. i explained that i only rode a plane ONCE. i'd suggest you read it again. k thanks...

You have to pay for both outgoing and return.

You have to pay for baggage fee every time you check in, just like what you went through, once departing and once again on returning.

You pay the fee every time you board a plane. It's not like you pay it once and then never pay it again for the rest of your life. Is this the first time you've flown in an airplane, because that would explain your confusion.

Continental now always requires payment for checked baggage. If you pay online, your first bag is $15 and your second bag is $25. If you wait until you check in at the airport you will pay $20 for the first and $30 for the second. You can pay online any time up to about an hour before the flight. If you check in online (you can do this within 24 hours of your departure time) it will ask if you have bags and allow you to pay online at that time. You will have to pay for your return flight as well. Once you pay online for your bags, the baggage fee is not refundable so make sure you don't pay for 2 bags and then decide to only take one! There are exceptions for frequent flyers, military, government, etc.
